Participant Profile for
Jeanne Henry
Last Updated: April 10, 2009

I am from McCall, Idaho United States of America and I am 48 years old.  I’ve been skydiving for 4 years and have made 400 skydives during that time.
My professional occupation is Airline Pilot.

My Biography:
I have been flying for a major airline for 13 years and spent 13 years prior pursuing my passion to be an airline pilot. Through my pursuit I learned if you have a dream and a goal anything is possible through determination, hard work, good training, lots of practice and a positive attitude. This has carried over to all aspects of my life.

I started skydiving in 2005 and did my first tandem on the North Shore of Hawaii. I’ll never forget it! The view of the ocean and the mountains was just as exciting as the free fall time during which I got a ‘kiss-pass’ from my husband JBird, who is a member of The World Team. I’ve been hooked ever since!

My Hobbies & Other Interests:
When I’m not skydiving, I love skiing, snowboarding, white water rafting, biking, traveling and cooking. Some of my favorite times have been when I’ve been able to combine some of them together. I took cooking lessons at a villa in Italy after a 5-day bicycle trip through the hill towns of Tuscany with my husband and friends. Getting to spend time with family and friends is the best!

Why I feel it’s important to participate in JFTC:
After traveling to World Team events for the past 15 years I have developed wonderful, close friendships with many of the JFTC participants. In 2005, I watched from the ground as a ‘baby’ skydiver and was in ‘awe’ of all these beautiful women with their positive energy, camaraderie, determination, hard work, and the fun that was all part of this special event.

The cause is something I’ve been very passionate about for many years and I know helping to raise money through this event will help bring us one step closer to finding a cure for this terrible disease that is affecting countless women and men in all our lives everyday.

So, I want to thank you for helping me reach my personal goal of $10,000 and the collective goal for the event of one million dollars.

Please remember to put my name ‘Jeanne Henry’ in the comments or memo area of your donation. Again, many thanks!!!
