I am from Cavan, Ireland and I am 30 years old. I’ve been skydiving for 4 years and have made 817 skydives during that time.
My professional occupation is police officer.
My Biography:
I completed my AFF course in Jan '05 and have been an active jumper since. Initially started freeflying, but I have been turned back to the 'bright side' by some fantastic jumps and skydivers I have met along the way.
Biggest formation for me so far was the Irish 51 way record set in July '08, so everything I do past that is a bonus...
My Hobbies & Other Interests:
Alot have taken a back seat since I took up skydiving, but I also scuba dive, horse ride and swim quite a bit. Started Kite surfing for a while, and got side tracked with training for work - so that's on my to do list again.
Why I feel it’s important to participate in JFTC:
Besides the fact of it being a record setting jump and personal challenge, my aunt passed away after a long battle with breast cancer and everything I do would be in her memory. She was a fantastic woman and a fighter to the end, so I have to give it my best shot!
