Why I feel it’s important to participate in JFTC: My mother is a cancer survivor. Every penny that goes to researching breast cancer also advances other cancer research.
I value and enjoy the sororitas of the semi-annual gathering. There is nothing quite like it. I like to think that to a small degree we are contributing to the advancement of the dreams and aspirations of women and girls in the world, in a feminist sort of way.
