Participant Profile for Deanna Frank Last Updated: March 12, 2009
I am from Tracy, California United States of America and I am 44 years old. I’ve been skydiving for 21 years and have made 2500 skydives during that time. My professional occupation is Registered Nurse.
My Biography: My skydiving career began in 1987 in Alberta, Canada when a friend saw an ad to jump out of a plane. Always wanting to hang glide or fly airplanes, I took her up on the offer. Loved it so much, we made a second jump that day! However, due to fluctuating weather, finances and college, I really didn't jump much till I moved to the USA several years later. I never did fly a hang glider but I did get my pilot's license in 1997 and have been a part of some great skydive events. Some of those include JFTC 2005, multiple 100+ formation skydives, the Arizona Challenge, P3 Power Play, Silver Medal 8way Intermediate US Nationals, Gold Medal 4 way Intermediate US Nationals 2008 and many hours in wind tunnels.
My Hobbies & Other Interests: Besides skydiving, I enjoy downhill skiing, flying, running, motorcycling, scubadiving, traveling and music.
Why I feel it’s important to participate in JFTC: I am participating in JFTC for several reasons; to raise funds in the fight to help find a cure for breast cancer, to be part of a new Women's Skydive record and to be part of an incredible gathering of comradeship!
