Participant Profile for Leigh Estabrook Last Updated: September 22, 2009
I am from Tisdale, Saskatchewan Canada and I am 50 years old. I’ve been skydiving for 20 years and have made 1750 skydives during that time. My professional occupation is self employed.
My Biography: I started skydiving in 1976 at the tender age of 16 in my home town of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Skydiving quickly became my passion. I hold a C Licence, was a jumpmaster, 4-way and 8-way competitor, load organizer at Z-Hills, FL and an exhibition rated jumper. After 18 years of skydiving I opted to try some other sports and hobbies. I then started waterskiing and went on to become Canadian National silver medalist in the Women's 4 slalom division. I also found solice in oil painting. I have a studio in Tucson, AZ and am currently working on several commissioned pieces as well as a new collection for a March 2010 art show. I have a degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby BC and have worked in the IT industry as well as the pharmaceutical industry. I returned to skydiving, am now retired and still enjoying life!
My Hobbies & Other Interests: Oil painting, waterskiing, shooting, riding my Harley-Davidson, and travelling.
