Last Updated: August 31, 2009

I am from Calgary, Alberta Canada and I am 43 years old.  I’ve been skydiving for 15 years and have made 950 skydives during that time.
My professional occupation is Financial Advisor.

My Biography:
I am a Certified Financial Planner & Financial Advisor who has been in the financial services industry for the past 24 years. I made my first skydive in 1994 and immediately fell in love with this exhilarating sport.
The short Canadian season, limited facilities and lack of focus made it challenging for me to develop my skills in the air. JFTC 2005 proved to be a turning point as several friends were part of that JFTC team in 2005. They were an inspiration and I set a goal to become part of the next JFTC team. Time & money got put into training and I became an active coach & instructor at a DZ 3 1/2 hrs away from my home. Now the realisation of this dream is in sight - and I'll be thinking PINK until we make this dream come true.

“The most important thing about having goals is having one."
-Geoffrey F. Abert

My Hobbies & Other Interests:
Skydiving (large & small formations), Downhill Skiing, Reading, catching up on movies during the long Canadian winter.

Why I feel it’s important to participate in JFTC:
Breast cancer has touched way too many friends throughout my life. The ability to raise funds and promote awareness for Breast Cancer while pursuing an amazing goal are reasons why I have wanted to be a part of JFTC.

Since receiving an invitation to join the JFTC 2009 team, the mother of a dear friend has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. I'm now Jumping for Jackie during JFTC 2009.
